Our Story
Rosa's Cupcakes: From Hobby to Passionate Profession
Rosa’s cupcakes was created to expand a passion beyond the normal hobby. With a love of all things baking, we strive to bring some American styled desserts to the Northern England market.
From custom designed cupcakes, to specially made pies and cheesecakes, we strive to create both a delicious and beautifully designed dessert.

About Rosa
My name is Veronica, but I’m known as Rosa to most of my friends.
From a young age, I’ve had a passion for baking. Around the age of 14, when asked what I want I wanted to do with my life, if it wasn’t being a biology professor or teacher, it was studying patisserie in London.
As I grew up, I loved to watch my grandmother bake. While she could, she would bake from a cook book, all the Christmas cookies in it, totalling well over 20 recipies. Seeing her do that and loving every minute of it is what helped inspire me to try and mimic her.
So I started teaching myself the ins and outs of baking. Learning from youtube videos, old cook books and everything I could get my hands on.
Later on in life, I met my British husband and immigrated to the UK to live with him. And while studying in London may not have happened, Rosa’s Cupcakes has - as something for myself, and something where I can help spread the joy that baking gives me.
